Thanks to the emphasis on putting so much of our business in the cloud there has never been a higher demand for telecom equipment in American than the levels we are seeing today and will be seeing in the future. All across the country existing infrastructure and networks are groaning under the weight of increased demand and extraordinarily heavy usage from both private and commercial customers. Companies all over are starting to realize that if they are to remain competitive in the information age it is vital to invest in their networks and telecommunications systems and to enhance their connectivity to satellite offices and distant partners.

Between the influx of new technology, rising reliance on the internet and cloud-based organizing, and the wave of deregulation that has swept the telecom industry many people would argue that now is a great time to get into telecom equipment while it is still in a wild West phase. The telecommunications industry in general has been undergoing many evolutions (and revolutions) over the last twenty years, but is beginning to settle down into a series of conflicts between large corporations and conglomerates battling over prices for individual customers and services for larger clients. There is still some threat from new entrants into the market, but it is significantly less than it would have been ten years prior. However some damage has been done, and telecom hardware is something of a buyer’s market at the present time.

All this will change once more companies and governmental bodies decide to invest in upgrading the national infrastructure. The increased speeds available as a result of fiber optic cables and infrastructure improvements will prompt a demand for more and better services that are currently being cramped by networks that are barely capable of handling the demand for streaming videos. There would be an explosion of activity in the telecommunications equipment companies as soon as these improved networks become operational, so take advantage of them now while you still can.
